The diffuser body is made of eco-friendly gypsum, which is non-flammable, non-toxic, and recyclable. The geometric profile of the diffuser is designed with slanted edges; this shape optimizes the contact between the airflow and the surface to achieve the desired Coanda effect.
The product features a refined gypsum cap, reinforced with plastic on the inside. This ensures greater durability and prevents cracking, even if the cap is accidentally dropped. The diffuser’s safety cable is factory-attached to the cap—simply unpack it and it is ready for immediate installation. The kit includes an airflow balancing damper and fiberglass fabric to simplify the finishing process.
Like other ERGOVENT products, this diffuser is fully integrated into the interior. It is adapted for installation in gypsum ceilings or walls, using side metal brackets to fasten it directly to the gypsum board. After installation, the air diffuser becomes an inconspicuous, perfectly functioning detail—its exterior surface can be painted in any color to match the room’s interior.
The RONDO-COANDA air diffuser is designed based on the Coanda airflow principle, where the air stream tends to follow the contours of a nearby surface due to a low-pressure zone created between the surface and the flow. This feature allows the supplied air to be directed along the ceilings or walls without blowing directly into the room, ensuring comfortable and even microclimate regulation. RONDO-COANDA operates extremely quietly, thanks to its aerodynamically favorable design. It is perfect for spaces such as bedrooms, living rooms, offices, or hotel rooms.
